Delivered Product: Evaluation of Alberta 55 Plus Games program
Process: Assessed the existing framework and delivery model of a provincial Games initiative, analyzed its funding framework and reach of its programming, and made recommendations for the future of the program. Included: online survey of participants, sponsors, organizers, and other key stakeholders; organized two stakeholder engagement sessions / focus groups; assessed financial aspects of the Games (including government and private sector funding, and participation fees); and conducted cross-provincial comparative assessment of similar initiatives across Canada (and internationally).
Outcome: Provided client with recommendations for revising the financial and other resource commitment to the Games. Suggestions for a revised delivery model are under consideration.
